The River Fund Maine

The River Fund aims to create a bright economic future for our community by investing in the education of our youth and by harnessing the recreational assets of our region.

We are fortunate to live, work and play in an area where locals, semi-locals and visitors come together to spend time with family and friends enjoying all our area has to offer. The River Fund was formed in 2018, and was formally known as the Sunday River Community Fund, which granted over $300,000 in ten years to local organizations.  Evolving from a donor-advised fund to a "501(c)(3)" organization, the mission of The River Fund is to bring our community together to help youth unleash their potential by thinking big and aspiring for more.

There are many ways to get involved with The River Fund.  For a hands-on approach, we offer volunteer opportunities including helping with events. We will also raise funds through online auctions, raffles, product sales, and philanthropy. By supporting The River Fund, people who enjoy our region can give back to the community that has given so much to them.
